Oh! Lady be good!

It's not always easy to do what you should ... Sometimes things just don't happen the way you wanted it to. You can have a successful day in every way, things can go exactly the way you've hoped, and maybe even the way you've planned (if you're a person that plans every little detail of your day). You might perform perfectly when you're teaching, or what ever you do for a living ... You might even do better than perfect ...!

But then, after a long and hard day, you come home, fall over on the couch, or maybe you don't even reach further than the hallway floor ... You're laying there, sprawled, dead in your head, hanging in a thin thread, with your face all read... and what happens?!? ... ... ... You don't do what you want, which is a lot worse than not doing what you should! You step on someones toe... You jump up, and straight into someones face ... Maybe you even bite of a nose. Why couldn't the day have come to an end BEFORE you had to step in the potato salad?!? Now you have fatty strings of white smooch all over your feet, and it's not so easy to get to the shower ... The shower seems to be so very, very far away. And your legs seems so very short, and horribly sore. You just have to lay down again, but you can only manage that if you have that little bit of luck left... That luck, which you like to call experience... If you've used the little luck you had, earlier that day, you don't even get to lay down ... You
drop, and it feels like there are many meters down. It's the same feeling you get if you've laid down on the floor with your eyes closed, and somebody has held one of your legs straight up, but kept the other one flat on the floor. When that somebody slowly puts your leg down again, it feels like your leg goes straight through the floor ... That's the feeling of dropping, after you've just stepped in a big pile of crap, and you know that you have no chance to get to the shower, much less to a bath with soap and warm water ...
